Support and Action during COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
We are still (always) here for you.
In the midst of the pandemic, we are still operating 24-7 to support survivors of sexual assault, harassment, and abuse and their loved ones. This health crisis is affecting everyone, and we know that survivors are experiencing additional impacts.
We are following the COVID-19 guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Related to our remote services, we will continue to update this page as necessary.

How you can help
Support BARCC’s COVID-19 Emergent Needs Response Fund
BARCC is continuing to provide free essential services while protecting the health and safety of survivors, our staff, and the general public. Unrestricted donations are needed to apply to emergent needs, such as increasing micro-grants to survivors in immediate need of food and housing, and creating new ways to deliver medical advocacy and counseling services that are private, safe, and secure for survivors. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
Other ways to help
- Reach out to the survivors in your lives, let them know you’re there for them, and offer ways to connect virtually—whether it’s a FaceTime call or a Google Hangout, a Netflix watch party, a dance party over video chat, a phone call, a text chain, etc.
- See any cool new resources for self-care out there? Share them with the survivors in your life or on social media to let them know that you are someone who thinks about this and can be a resource.
- Share BARCC’s information on social media so survivors know we’re still here for them! You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Linkedin.
