Community Support

Unfortunately, we know all too well that when sexual violence is done to a member of a community, it is like a rock thrown in a pond and its ripple spreads far and wide in all directions. This ripple reaches members of the community who know and care about the individuals involved or feel a strong tie to the community in which the violence was committed. These individuals often have their own difficult reactions to the violence, including feelings of betrayal, guilt, anger, sadness, and many more.

As your community grapples with how to provide support and resources to those most directly affected, it's important to recognize the impact that violence can have on all members of the community so that people are able to come together to begin the healing process.

Whether you are a part of a faith group, school community, neighborhood, or music scene, we want to support you in bringing healing to your community and creating a culture to prevent sexual violence. If you have any questions or would like schedule a consultation to find out how BARCC can support your community at this time, e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Our mission is to end sexual violence. We empower survivors of sexual violence to heal and provide education and advocacy for social change to prevent sexual violence.
