BARCC joins arms and hearts in support of Haitians in the aftermath of the earthquake

Our heart goes out to all those with friends and families in Haiti awaiting news following the devastating earthquake. For all people, this tragic event can lead to a range of reactions and responses: helplessness, overwhelming anxiety, fear, sadness, grief and loss, to name just a few common reactions. For those who are survivors of sexual violence, this current situation can trigger reactions and feelings from past trauma. The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center offers a twenty four hotline and free counseling services for those who need support.
