How to Apply to Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with BARCC! We accept volunteers and provide training at regular intervals throughout the year.

There are many ways to get involved! If you're interested in events-based or one-time volunteer opportunities, just email and we will keep you up to date on upcoming opportunities.

Office Support Volunteer (OSV) program:

Direct-Service Volunteer programs (hotline, medical advocacy, and CAPS):

Our next hotline, medical advocacy. and CAPS training will be held June 12–16, 9:00–5:00 p.m. each day. There will be two Info & Interview sessions held for prospective volunteers leading up to those dates. (all prospective volunteers are required to attend one session--after you apply, we'll let you know when thet are and you'll let us know which session you would like to RSVP for!)

Attendance at one of our Info & Interview sessions is mandatory for anyone wishing to apply for a direct service position. These sessions are designed so that you can hear more about each of our programs and speak with BARCC staff and current volunteers. At the end of the meeting, you will be interviewed by a BARCC staff member or volunteer.
