First Parish in Bedford's 55th Annual Plant & Craft Fair Fun outdoor event for families and friends! Over 50 artists and craftspeople will be there, plus plants galore - shrubs, flowers, organic herbs, you name it. Live music, kid's activities, petting farm zoo, Maypole dancing and tours of Bedford's historic meeting house. Gail Burton: Transforming Violence Against Women This evening performance by Gail Burton explores what it means to experience violence and the threat of violence in its many forms, simply because one is female. Employing the technique of 'body interviewing', Ms. Burton will interact with audience memebrs and encourage a dialogue with the larger community as a means to break the silence around the impact of violence. Post-Traumatic Stress Study BARCC and the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress
Disorders at the Boston VA are collaboratively conducting a research study
for women who have recently been sexually assaulted. In this study, we
will be looking at the correlates of PTSD among sexual assault survivors
across time. You may be eligible to participate if you are a woman over
the age of 18 who has been sexually assaulted in the past four weeks. The
study consists of 4 online confidential surveys completed over the course
of 4 months. Reimbursement for study involvement is provided. If you would
like more information about the study, please call the study coordinator,
