Support All Survivors: March with BARCC at Boston Pride!

BARCC marching in Pride parade with banner that says BARCC with rainbow

Acknowledging survivors as whole people is an important part of supporting their healing journey. As a member of the BARCC community, you have demonstrated your support for all survivors in a number of ways. From showing up at the Women’s March for America to participating in legislative advocacy for youth, immigrant, and housing justice, you have shown that a survivor’s full identity matters to you. Being in solidarity with all members of our community during difficult times—especially while seeking justice, equity, and inclusion—is one simple way we can be here for one another.

We know that LGBQ/T+ individuals are impacted by sexual violence at an alarming rate. As a community that seeks to support all identities, we also come together to celebrate those identities as well. On June 10, we invite you to walk with BARCC in the Boston Pride Parade to celebrate the LGBQ/T+ survivors that make up our staff, clients, supporters, and loved ones. Let’s come together and celebrate their survivorship. Take this opportunity to be a positive ambassador for BARCC as an organization, for survivors, and for our mission of ending sexual violence through healing and social change.
